Award Winner 2008:

There were 11 applicants who all have submitted a scientific work of outstanding quality which made the decision to the price committe extremely difficult.

 

The committee finally has elected:

John Hardy, Professor of Neuroscience Institute of Neurology, University College, Queen Square, London

and

Andrew B. Singleton, Chief of Molecular Genetics Section and Acting Chief of the Laboratory of Neurogenetics, National Institute on Aging, National Institutes of Health, Bethesda. Maryland USA


Award Presentation 2008:

October 30th, 2008, in Basle/Switzerland at the annual joint scientific meeting of the Swiss Neurological Society and the Swiss Society for Psychiatry.

The committee therefore decided to have the price shared between two winners:

- Professor Zbigniew K.Wszolek  Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, USA
